What We Achieved In 2019?

2019 has been an extraordinary year for Mi Terro. We dedicate the last post of 2019 by giving you some highlights of our year:

February 2019:

We launched our Mi Terro Cork Duffle Suitcase on Kickstarter and hit our funding goal within 72 hours.

April 2019:

We competed in the New Venture Seed Competition, held at USC. Out of 220 teams, Mi Terro was able to place in the top five and received a distinguishing award! This was huge for us because it helped Mi Terro to start a new journey.

June 2019:

We were featured on Forbes for our Cork Duffle Suitcase. At the same time, we successfully developed the world's first apparel line made from milk waste.

August 2019:

We launch our second Kickstarter campaign featuring our milk shirt and underwear. We were fully funded within 2 hours! Our innovation landed us on Forbes, Business Insider, Vogue, WWD, and 70 other internationally recognized publications.

September 2019:

We were featured on China's Central Television, which broadcasts to more than one billion viewers.

November 2019:

We rebranded Mi Terro. After the massive success of our milk shirt and underwear, we decide to focus on utilizing food waste, starting with dairy and non-dairy waste, to produce fabrics.

We won the First Place and People's Choice Award at the U.Pitch hosted by EY.

December 2019:

We generate over $2,000 sales in under 12 hours at the Unique LA Market by the Santa Monica pier.

It’s been an incredible year and we have lots of exciting news coming up in 2020 – Stay tuned!
